2 injured in 2-car crash on Healdsburg Avenue

Neither person transported to hospital after 7 p.m. rear-end collision north of Dry Creek Road.

Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-car accident on Healdsburg Avenue north of Dry Creek Road at about 7 p.m. Friday.

Healdsburg Police Sgt. Matt Jenkins said the accident took place when an Audi driven by a Healdsburg woman and carrying one passenger rear-ended a Chevy Impala driven by a North Carolina man and carrying three passengers that was stopped at the intersection heading southbound.

One passenger in each car complained of pain, but they both declined ambulance transport and said they would seek their own medical treatment, Jenkins said. No citations were issued, and alcohol was not involved, he added.
