3 Injured in Early Morning Crash North of Healdsburg

Injured include 27-year-old Healdsburg woman.

Two passengers and a driver were injured early this morning when the car they were riding in ran off the road and struck a tree on Cazadero Highway south of Paradise Grove.

The driver of the 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis, Randy McGinnis, 43, of Cazadero, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury following the 3:10 a.m. crash.

"Officers that responded to the scene noted that McGinnis appeared extremely intoxicated," California Highway Patrol spokesman Jon Sloat said.

Sloat identified the two female passengers as Jade Seitz, 27, of Healdsburg, and Kathryn Morgan, 34, of Sebastopol. They were transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with multiple broken bones and other non-life threatening injuries, he said.

Sloat said McGinnis suffered back and head injuries, and was also transported to Memorial Hospital.

"Neither Seitz nor McGinnis were wearing a seatbelt," Sloat said.
