Another storm to begin at 2 p.m.

Healdsburg police issue second alert after morning power outages.

Healdsburg police are issuing a winter storm warning for rain and high winds beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday  through 6 a.m. Friday.

It is the second storm watch issued Thursday after a area due to a downed power line.

"The city of Healdsburg is alerting residents to the approach of a significant storm," police said at about 11:30 a.m. Thursday. "We are anticipating rain with high winds.

"This combination can create hazardous conditions with falling trees and downed power lines," police said. "There is always the areas."

Police advised residents to prepare for possible utility disruptions.
