A new photo exhibit, "Smoke Signals," launches with a reception Sunday. It memorializes, in stark display, the of Aug. 14, 2010.
"It's one of the defining moments in Healdsburg history," said of the who has partnered with the and two photographers in the project.
"We had 22 engines show up, and a lot of people were sad to see the Post Office go," said Healdsburg Fire Marshal Linda Collister, who helped coordinate the show. "It's part of Healdsburg history."
Photos from , and from Healdsburg civic volunteer and newspaper columnist Ray Holley will be included.
Public exhibitions will run from noon to 4 p.m. from Aug. 28 through 31 Healdsburg Library Forum Room, 139 Piper St. (at Center).
