Sebastopol police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday night.
The collision happened around 7 p.m. on Healdsburg Avenue and Murphy Avenue, police said.
The Sonoma County coroner's office identified the victim as 69-year-old Frederic Ernst of Sebastopol.
Police said the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators and there is no indication that alcohol or drugs are involved in the collision.
