Flooding shuts down Hwy. 121 at Hwy. 12

CHP advises avoiding the area.

State Highway 121 is closed in both directions at state Highway 12 in Sonoma County due to flooding, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The highway is expected to remain closed until sometime Friday, CHP Officer Scott Cakebread said.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
