Healdsburg Fire Station Open House Saturday, Oct. 13

Event, part of Fire Prevention Week, includes food and demos for kids and adults.

Healdsburg Fire Department friends and area families are invited to an Open House at the Healdsburg Fire Station on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Firefighters will roll out the fire prevention trailer and will be teaching children and adults fire prevention tips around this years theme, "Two Ways Out."

There will be food and demonstrations by the Healdsburg Firefighters and the Firefighter Association.  Other participants will be the Healdsburg Police Department, Cal Fire, Red Cross, and the Fire Department Explorer Program.

Firefighters will be teaching parents and children how to prevent fires and plan "Two Ways Out" of their home during an emergency. 

Additionally, every other Saturday in the month of October, the fire department will be providing free CPR classes from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  For information or reservations, call the Healdsburg Fire Department at 707-431-3360.
