UPDATE: Healdsburg Fire Along Russian River Contained
Blaze under control by 4:45 p.m., Press Democrat says.

Firefighters in Healdsburg were able to bring the blaze along the Russian River under control by 4:45 p.m., the Press Democrat reports.
The blaze was started in a grove of reeds near Veterans Memorial Beach.

Healdsburg firefighters were battling a blaze that broke out in a grove of bamboo near the Russian River Sunday afternoon, the Press Democrat is reporting.
According to the newspaper, the fire was near Veterans Memorial Beach, which is along the Russian River.
