Healdsburg Vineyard Worker Hurt After Tractor Goes Down Embankment

Man was worker at MacMurray Ranch.

 

 A vineyard worker at the MacMurray Ranch in Healdsburg suffered minor injuries this morning when his tractor went off a road and overturned down a 30-foot embankment, a Forestville Fire Protection District captain said.

The 40-year-old man suffered minor cuts to his head and complained of chest pain, and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, Capt. Matt Eggelston said.

The tractor driver was wearing a seatbelt, and the tractor was equipped with a roll bar, Eggelston said. The driver was out of the tractor and walking around after it overturned.

The incident was reported around 8:40 a.m. at the ranch, located at 9015 Westside Road. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office were informed of the incident, according to the California Highway Patrol.
