Healdsburg Woman Suspected of DUI Dies Days Later

According to the Press Democrat Dorothy Buechy, 86, passed away Saturday after being charged with DUI Wednesday.

According to a report in the Press Democrat, an 86-year-old Healdsburg woman who was arrested on DUI charges last week died this past Saturday according to the CHP.

Healdsburg resident Dorothy Buechy passed away early Saturday at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, just days after she crashed her 1996 Toyota 4Runner into a power pole and tree on Westside Road early Wednesday morning, according to the report.

The Press Democrat said the CHP officers thought Buechy may have been drinking, and arrested and released her at the hospital that same night for treatment of her injuries.
