Hit and Run Driver Plows Through Sonoma County Home, Leaves Truck in Living Room

No injuries were reported.

A hit and run driver who crashed into a Sonoma County home early Sunday morning left the scene of the accident – and their truck in the home's living room – authorities said.

The driver of a 1990 blue Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on the 100 block of Cleveland Lane outside Petaluma when the motorist lost control of the vehicle, driving through the front yard and into the home, CHP officer Marcus Hawkins said.

A resident of the home was in a back room and was not injured in the crash, which Hawkins said occurred at about 2 a.m.

The truck barreled through a porch, knocking down a front wall and continuing into the living room where it knocked down an adjacent wall, Hawkins said.
