A Windsor man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of robbing a bank
in Larkfield last month, a Sonoma County sheriff's sergeant said.
Matthias Daugherty, 25, was arrested in Sonoma County Jail, where
he was already being held under $500,000 bail on suspicion of battery,
threatening to commit a crime, vandalism and obstructing a public officer.
Daugherty was arrested on May 12 for those offenses and was found
to be mentally competent after a doctor's exam, according to court records.
He is scheduled to appear in Sonoma County Superior Court on Thursday
Daugherty is suspected of robbing the Exchange Bank at 500
Larkfield Center around 12:20 p.m. on April 24.
The white, male robber demanded money and put it in a plastic
grocery-type bag, Windsor police said.
Police later released a photo of the
suspect taken by a surveillance camera.
