Man Dies After Medical Emergency While Riding Motorcycle With His Wife On Healdsburg Ave.

A motorcyclist died after suffering a medical emergency while riding with his wife near Healdsburg Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fatal collision was reported at 4:35 p.m. on Healdsburg Avenue near Alexander Valley Road, according to the CHP.

The man, identified as 60-year-old Reedley resident Jeremy Martens, was on the 2008 Harley-Davidson with his wife, Leanne Martens, 59, also of Reedley in Fresno County.

Jeremy Martens was driving northbound on Healdsburg Avenue when in the intersection he applied the brakes and fell over, according to the CHP.

He suffered a medical emergency and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.

His death was not connected with the collision, according to the CHP.

His wife was not injured in the fall, and no other vehicles were involved. Alcohol was not a factor in the incident, according to the CHP.
