Police are looking for two residential burglary suspects who shot at a resident's car when she arrived home and interrupted the crime on Tuesday, a police sergeant said.

The 43-year-old woman arrived at her home in the 3400 block of Baldwin Way in the Fountaingrove area of Santa Rosa around 9 a.m., Sgt. Dave Linscomb said.

As she sat in her car in her driveway, she noticed a man sitting in a car in front of her house and saw another man approaching her vehicle from behind, Linscomb said.

Her car was suddenly hit by gunfire, and the vehicle in front of the house -- a dark-colored hatchback -- sped off with the two men inside, Linscomb said.

The woman was not hit by the gunfire but suffered a minor injury to her arm, Linscomb said.

Police said the suspects, described as two Hispanic men in their 20s, forced entry into the woman's home and stole items before she arrived.
