Officers on Saturday night made eight arrests during a compliance check on 43 high-risk
felony probation and Post Release Community Supervision offenders throughout
the Sebastopol, Windsor, Larkfield, and Santa Rosa, authorities said.
Officers from the Santa Rosa Police Department, Windsor Police Department, Rohnert Park Public Safety, Healdsburg Police Department, Sebastopol Police Department, Petaluma Police Department, and the Sonoma County Probation Department were involved in the sting, Santa Rosa police Sergeant John Cregan said.
The operation was funded by the Board of State of Community Corrections to address crime impacts on local communities as a result of the Realignment Act of 2011, Cregan said.
