Teen Stabbing Victim In Hospital After Fight In Healdsburg

Healdsburg police are investigating the stabbing of 16-year-old Healdsburg boy who was involved in a physical fight between multiple people.

A 16-year-old male from Healdsburg was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, Aug. 1 after suffering from multiple stab wounds to the left side of his upper body.

The victim is in stable condition and is expected to recover.

According to the Healdsburg Police Department, the victim, whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile and for his protection, was walking on Sunnyvale Dr. near Lupine Road when he was ambushed by a group of unknown subjects.

Police arrived at the hospital and learned that the victim was involved in a large-scale fight that happened the previous night in Healdsburg.

On Wednesday, July 31, at approximately 8:36 p.m. Healdsburg police officers responded to the area of Sunnyvale Dr. and Lupine Road for a report of physical altercation between multiple civilians.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they were unable to locate any involved subjects.

People at the scene stated they saw a group of individuals attack one male subject, however, the fight broke and all involved parties had fled before the officers arrived.

Witnesses to the altercation also stated that they saw a group of two males and two females, possibly Hispanic and of high school age, attack the victim. One of the females was seen with a dog.

They were last seen walking eastbound on Sunnyvale Dr. towards Poppy Hill Dr. after the attack.
