UPDATE: Body of Thursday's Missing Woman on Mt. Tam Found by Search Team

Details are still brief, but the Marin County Sheriff's Office hasreportedly notified the family of a woman reported missing today on Mt. Tamalpais that a body has been found that matches her description. 

The woman’s father reported his daughter missing at 2:33 p.m. today, in an area very close to where a Menlo Park woman, 33, vanished while hiking March 30.

Officials believe the woman who went missing today may have fallen 40 feet into a drainage area, according to KRON4 news on the scene.

Marin County Sheriff's Office is forming a search party at  Mt. Tamalpais State Park where another woman was reported missing today.

A command post is set up at the Throckmorton Ridge Fire Station on 816 Panoramic Hwy in Mill Valley, according toKRON4 news at the scene

Marin Sheriff's Lt. Doug Pittman told reporters that the woman’s father reported his daughter missing at 2:33 p.m. today.

No description or photo of the missing woman, described in one media report as in her 50s, has been released. 

Unconfirmed reports say her car was found at the Mountain Home Inn in Mill Valley.

The body of a Menlo Park hiker, a woman, 33, was found April 12 on Mt. Tam. She was last seen March 30.
