Vandals Break Raven Ticket Window
The custom-made etched glass window was smashed sometime after midnight Thursday morning
Sometime between midnight and 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning, the etched-glass ticket window at the entrance of the Raven Performing Arts Theater was smashed, leaving a hole nearly as big as the window itself.
“I can’t understand why someone would want to hurt this key community gathering place," said Carol Noack, the theater's director of communications.
The theater will host the H-town Youth Theater's production of Charlotte's Web, starting Friday for the next two weekends. The performances will not be affected by the vandalism.

A maintenance worker was doing some prep work at the theater during the night, and he took a break shortly after midnight, which is how the time frame of the vandalism is known.
"We’re fortunate to have terrific supporters among us, but I’m certain our donors would prefer that their thoughtful donations were spent improving the Raven, not patching the work of some low-level criminal."

"Fortunately, years ago we had a spare window made," said Noack. "Let’s hope we can wait at least another 50 years before we need to make another one.”
Anyone with information about the vandalism or suspicious activity in the area should contact the Healdsburg Police Department at 431-3377.
