Windsor man arrested on suspicion of 3rd DUI

Man caught by CHP Friday morning allegedly speeding in a Hwy. 101 construction zone.

A Windsor man with two prior convictions for driving under the influence was arrested again for DUI early this morning after he was caught speeding in a Highway 101 construction zone, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

CHP officers saw a Nissan Pathfinder traveling at approximately 90 mph on southbound Highway 101 near Railroad Avenue south of Cotati around
1:15 a.m., CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

They pursued the Nissan and saw it weaving and almost rear-ending
another vehicle in the slow lane, Sloat said.

The officers determined Alejos' driver's license was suspended, and that he had a prior conviction for driving without a license and two
prior DUI convictions, Sloat said.
