The Sonoma County coroner's office has identified the Santa Rosa
woman who died in a solo vehicle crash in Geyserville a week ago as
39-year-old Amporn Ta.
Ta was driving a 2005 Honda Accord west on state Highway 128 near
the River Rock casino around 9:30 p.m. on July 11 when she crossed the double yellow lines and passed traffic at 45 to 50 mph, the California Highway Patrol said.
The Honda fishtailed and veered to the left, went down an embankment and through a fence into a vineyard, the CHP said.
