Congressman Jared Huffman's second annual district-wide landscape photography competition is underway!
This photography competition will showcase the district -- the "most beautiful Congressional District in the nation," says Huffman.
Please email your original, high-resolution landscape photograph to HuffmanStaff@gmail.com, and include your name, hometown, and the location of the photo in the body of the email.
Submissions will be accepted until July 25, 2014.
On Monday, July 28, submissions will be posted to Huffman's Facebook at Facebook.com/RepHuffman, where you will have the opportunity to vote on the photos by “liking” them.
The two winning photographs, as determined by most likes, will be announced on Thursday, July 31.
Each photograph will be published for three months as his official Twitter header photo and Facebook cover photo. County-wide winners will be announced, as well.
Last year, more than 207 incredible entries were received, with the first place winner selected as Sandy Evans of Ukiah and Anise Gemmell of San Rafael for second place.
Their winning photographs may be found HERE. However, winning photos from last year’s competition will not be accepted.
