Healdsburg City Council to Discuss Vulnerable User Ordinance for Cyclists, Pedestrians Monday

The regular meeting of the City Council is Monday, with a diverse agenda from Poppy Month to Parkland Farms

The Vulnerable User Ordinance first brought before the Healdsburg Council by the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition in February under the sponsorship of Council Member Tom Chambers, will be presented for evaluation and adaption by Police Chief Kevin Burke.

That marks only one item of new business in Monday night’s regular meeting of the May 6 at the City Hall Council Chambers at Grove and North. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm; the agenda is attached to the article.

Among the Announcements and Presentations at the outset of the meeting are administering the oath of office to a new Healdsburg Police Officer, Morgan Dudley, and badge presentations to reserve firefighters.
