Healdsburg city workers will drill a single test hole through the deck and into the bed of the Russian River near the existing center pier.

The bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic and will remain open for bicycles and pedestrians. The closure will begin at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug 8 and will continue overnight until 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9.
