Healdsburg Planning Commission To Consider New Projects

Planning Commission to meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

 

On Tues., June 26, the will consider new projects, including plans for the old post office location on Center and North Streets and a proposal for a “culinary café” on Healdsburg Avenue south of the Plaza.

As reported in the Press Democrat, local winemaker Pete Seghesio, plans to build a two-story structure at the Center Street location, that will showcase his new business the Healdsburg Meat Company. The business will feature house-made “salumi.”  Other offerings will include artisan sausages and locally sourced meats.

The new building will also include two storefronts on the ground floor, available for lease. The second floor will hold several hotel rooms.

The culinary café is the newest Jackson Family Wine proposal. It will feature charcuterie as part of the cafe menu, “curated artisan food,” cheeses, breads, chocolates and picnic baskets. The plans call for special food and wine related events.

The Planning Commission meeting will be held at Healdsburg City Hall, 401 Grove St. at 6 p.m.
