Jim Wood on 9/11: 10 Days at Ground Zero

Healdsburg City Councilman Jim Wood's memory of Sept. 11, 2001 was 10 days of work at Ground Zero in the New York Medical Examiner's Office, according to an article in the Press Democrat.

Wood, a forensic dentist, assisted the medical examiner in identifying human remains based on dental records, the article said.

Wood worked 12-hour days on the overnight shift for 10 days straight after 9/11, the article says.
