Magnitude 2.2 Quake Near The Geysers

The epicenter was 22 miles north of Santa Rosa.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.2 struck Sonoma County near The Geysers Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake struck at 6:20 a.m. at a depth of about 1.4 miles, according to the USGS. The epicenter was about 4 miles east southeast of The Geysers and 22 miles north of Santa Rosa.
