Major Upgrades Proposed for Villa Chanticleer

City leaders have long discussed ways to shore up the aging gathering place and make it into a profitable venture. In recent years, revenue has fallen off and the list of needed maintenance work has grown.

The mission of the subcommittee, composed of local businesspeople as well as City Council members and Parks and Recreation commissioners, was to define what it would take to restore the Villa Chanticleer into the showplace and go-to gathering spot it once was and could be again.
