'Occupy Wall Street Healdsburg' to Join National B of A Protest Wednesday

Group to do 'informational picketing' at Healdsburg branch.

 

is joining the "99% Spring Bank Protest" organized by MoveOn.

Meanwhile OWS, Healdsburg members and supporters will do informational picketing at the local branch of from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in solidarity with this national action.

OWS, Healdsburg has been waging a "Switch to Local: Move Our Money" campaign over the past six months in Healdsburg. 

It has conducted nine informational picket actions at and .

"Many people have reported moving their money from "The Big Bad Banks" to local credit unions and local banks" reports Robert Nuese, an OWS, Healdsburg member.

"It will be great to join a national day emphasizing the importance of the 99% taking action against one of the real culprits that wrecked our economy and caused much pain and suffering for many American families" said OWS organizer Dave Henderson. 

He added that OWS, Healdsburg will continue its regular campaign at all three of the local branches of the "Big Bad Banks."
