Pensions Key Issue in Healdsburg City Council Race

4 non-incumbents in 6-way race all raise pension issue.

Healdburg City Council has been wrestling with its pension costs and debt for more than a year.

Council has already lowered costs by a debt account established when it joined CalPERS.

In addition, the city this summer established a second tier of lower pension benefits payments for new hires.

Nonetheless, as expected, candidates challenging incumbents in the upcoming Healdsburg City Council election are focusing on pensions, according to the Press Democrat.

The article says the four non-incumbents in the six-way race for three seats on City Council are all raising the pension issue.

How about some fiscal responsibility and leadership! Financing your pension plan w/ a "side fund" is like paying your mortgage with your credit card.

These offices look great! I would love to have taken a look, but I don't live close enough to theRead More area. I was looking for spaces out in Toronto, and started looking at for office space for rent via http://www.theprofessionalcentre.com. But, again, your spaces look really nice, affordable, and would have done the job well. :)
