Some Healdsburg Property Tax Bills Have Incorrect Description

Although tax amounts correct, Healdsburg Unified School District description listed incorrectly on October bills.

Approximately 8,100 secured tax bills sent to residents in the Healdsburg Unified School District contained a minor typographical error.

The incorrect description for the 2003 Healdsburg Unified Bond charge was listed.

On the bills containing the error, the line item stating the “Geyserville Unified Bond” charge should read as the “2003 Healdsburg Unified Bond debt” service charge.

“The line item in question is one of three Healdsburg Unified Bond charges on tax bills," said Sonoma County Auditor-Controller, Treasurer, and Tax Collector David Sundstrom.

"All tax rates and amounts are correct and the typographical error has now been corrected in the property tax system," he said. "We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.”

Property owners can request a corrected version of their tax bill by calling (707) 565-2281.
