Thompson on 9/11: 'Difficult To Find the Right Words'

U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, who represents Healdsburg in Congress, on Friday issued a statement regarding the 10th  Anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

“Even with the passage of a decade, it is difficult to find the right words to capture the collective sense of outrage, sorrow and loss of innocence that our nation suffered as a result of the tragic attacks against our nation on Sept. 11, 2001," Thompson said in a news release.

Healdsburg residents are invited to attend a Saturday in honor of the 10th Anniversary of Sept. 11.

Saturday's event, from 8 a.m. to noon, will be at Foothill Regional Park , 1351 Arata Lane, Windsor.
