Two Obamacare Forums in Sonoma County Wednesday

One event is in Santa Rosa and the other is in Sebastopol.

Sonoma County residents will have two chances Wednesday night to learn more about the impacts of the new federal healthcare law.

One is hosted by the Sonoma County League of Women Voters, and will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Santa Rosa. It's titled, "Health Care: How Does It Work with the Affordable Care Act?" and will be held at the Santa Rosa Central Library, 211 E St. It will feature Sonoma County Health Officer Dr. Lynn Silver Chalfin.

The other forum is at the same time in Sebastopol, and is hosted by the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center and the Sebastopol Area Chamber of Commerce. It promises "information that will help us better understand the implications of the Affordable Care Act," including how to sign up for the coming healthcare exchange. Some of that event will also be focused toward business-owners.

It will be hosted from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center, 390 Morris St.
