Annual University Guide Rates Local Schools

UC Berkeley is one of 28 California schools included in the 2013 rendition of the Fiske Guide to Colleges.

With early admission deadlines for colleges already past, college-bound high school seniors and transfer students in Sonoma County have some difficult decisions looming this winter: where to send those remaining college applications.

Most college deadlines are coming up in January and February. To help with that decision, the Fiske Guide to Colleges recently released its 2013 edition.

There are more than 2,200 four-year colleges in the United States; Fiske gives a systematic look at more than 300 schools in the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.
