Cal Sends Coach Jeff Tedford Packing

As reported this morning on MercuryNews.com, Cal has fired its football coach Jeff Tedford. Teford has been the Bears head coach since 2001.
Under Tedford's guidance, the California Golden Bears have lost five consecutive games to conclude a 3-9 season. This is the second time in three years Cal has not qualified for post-season play.
