Donna del Rey Sworn In on HUSD Board

Del Rey is founder of Relish Culinary Adventures in Healdsburg.

 

 Donna del Rey, founder of Relish Culinary Adventures in Healdsburg and a parent of two students enrolled at Healdsburg High School, was sworn in earlier this month as a trustee on the Healdburg Unified School District board of directors.

According to HUSD Superintendent Jeff Harding, "the district conducted a thorough search to fill the vacancy" before selecting del Rey.

"Donna is a parent of two students at HHS and a long-time resident of the community," Harding said.  "She earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of the Pacific and has held key positions in the fields of software, pharmaceutical and biotech research."

In 2003, del Rey founded which she continues to own and manage. She is a member of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board and is a leader in the international Slow Food movement.

"Donna’s business experience, strength of character and her connection with the Healdsburg community will contribute to the board’s excellent stewardship of our local schools," Harding said.
