Fair for Fairness Revo Event

A fantastic event founded by a group of Rio Lindo Academy students called REVO Rio Lindo. REVO Rio Lindo picked a cause that was weighing deep on their hearts: slavery. The members of this group are working hard for their upcoming event they call "Fair for Fairness".

The goal is to raise awareness for social justice issues like slavery, human-trafficking and the principles of a Fair Trade lifestyle and raise the money to free people trapped in modern-day slavery. Their goal last year was to raised $1500 and at the end of the day the students had brought in over $1600!

This event will be held at the Plaza West in downtown Healdsburg. Plaza West is located between Healdsburg Ave and Vine St. behind The Bear Republic and Dry Creek Kitchen restaurants. The event is free to the public and will feature speakers and live music throughout the day. There will be booths packed full of informational about practical ways to bring about change. Food will be sold at the event and free samples of Fair Trade goods from vendors such as Equal Exchange Chocolate, Honest Tea & Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps will be available.
