HJH Soccer 'Dynasty' Honored for 3rd Straight NVL Title Win

Team members praised Wednesday at Healdsburg Unified School District board meeting.

's soccer "dynasty" members took kudos Wednesday night from the Healdsburg Unified School District board, their coach and their principal.

"Last year, we had the wrestling dynasty," HJH Principal Deb Hall told the board. "This year, it's another dynasty: soccer!"

HJH's Wilddogs won their their third straight North Valley League title this year, Hall said.

"We are Number 1 three years in a row," she said.

Nine members of the Wilddogs -- and their parents and friends -- attended Wednesday's the meeting at , filling the room to capacity.

"The wonderful thing about all of these players is that every one is a team member," said Coach Shawll Kozell, who has coached at HJH for the past eight years. "They're all very coachable and they all play as a team."

Attending the HUSD meeting Wednesday were: Captain Luis Magdaleno, Jonathan Ramirez, Rolando Joachin, Oscar Rodriguez, Gerardo Duran, Sergio Moralos, Marcus Cano and Jose Rosillo.
