HUSD Among Sonoma County Districts With Successful Measures

Healdsburg district's $35 million bond measure passes.

 

Voters in Sonoma County appear to have passed all eight measures on Tuesday's primary election ballot, according to unofficial results.

Two measures, however were barely passing and are too close to
call.

Voters in the approved a $35
million bond issue to modernize and renovate the junior high and high schools. approval and received 60.2 percent of the vote.

Measure D, an $89 parcel tax to maintain small class sizes and
offset budget cuts in the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District, received 66.9 percent approval. It needs 66.66 approval to pass.

Voters in the Old Adobe Union District barely approved Measure G,
a $26 million bond issue to modernize and renovate four elementary schools. It needs 55 percent approval and received 56.1 percent.          

Guerneville School District voters gave Measure F's $6 million
bond issue to modernize an elementary school 63.2 percent approval. The measure requires 55 percent approval.

Voters in the Sebastopol Union School District approved a $9
million bond issue to modernize and renovate classrooms. Measure H needed 55 percent approval and received 69 percent of the vote.

Measure I in the Wright School District is a $14 million bond
issue for classroom upgrades and renovations. It needed 55 percent and received 61 percent of the vote.

Sonoma voters approved a half-cent sales tax to offset state
budget cuts. Measure J required a majority vote and received two-thirds approval.

Measure K in the Schell-Vista Fire Protection District proposes to
increase the board's membership from three to five. It passed with 62 percent of the vote and needed approval by a majority of the voters.
