Kids Get to Cook with "The Culinary Dude"
Relish Culinary Adventures to host two kids cooking classes with Bay Area teacher Scott Davis in September and October.
Boys and girls ages 4 to 14 will have the chance to learn a wide variety of cooking styles and techniques at new classes coming to Healdsburg in September and October.
Scott Davis, also known as "The Culinary Dude," will teach cooking classes for kids at Healdsburg's Relish Culinary Adventures on Sept. 27 and Oct. 18.
"In a matter of a few hours of hands-on instruction, these young “Chefs To Be” will turn out amazing flavorful food, all from scratch, which they will be able to eat and share," said Davis, who is on a Bay Area-wide tour.

Davis has been teaching Bay Area adults and kids how to cook since 2005. Davis has a degree of Education and the Culinary Arts and is a Le Cordon Bleu CCA graduate.
“Focusing on the process, rather than the produc, creates independence and self esteem for the child," Davis says. "It not only gives them confidence in the kitchen but in themselves as a whole." And this confidence can be applied in other aspects of their lives as well."

Davis says his classes also include polishing up on manners, learning table etiquette and safe food and utensil handling.
“When a child finishes a class, he or she will be able to go home and cook for their friends and family again and again,” he says.
