The Junior Midget game provided the most excitement of the afternoon, with the Bulldog squad falling to the Warriors 24-32.  Rohnert Park dominated the hometown teams the rest of the games.

Bulldog vice president Andrea Lemus explained that this has been a tough year for the Healdsburg squads.

“The younger teams have a lot of first-year players that are just now starting to learn the game,” she said.

The Bulldogs start three weeks of road games next Sunday with the Redwood PAL, followed by the Dixon Rams and the Sonoma Jr Dragons.  

The Bulldogs will end their 2011 season with a home match-up against the West County Tigers at Rec Park’s Art McCaffrey Field on Oct. 30.
