Bolstered Healdsburg boys eye basketball action

Greyhounds greet footballers to prepare for Montgomery tournament

Healdsburg High's boys basketball team will be at full strength this week when it takes on the daunting challenge of hostig the REIBT basketball tournament Wednesday through Thursday.

The Greyhounds are 2-1, after beating Roseland Prep and St. Bernard of Eureka, last week. The school's football team lost Friday in the North Coast Section Division IV semifinal game, so a group of two-sport performers are free now to join the Greyhounds for action this week.

Healdsburg (2-2) will host St. Helena at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, then open tournament play at home when it entertains Clear Lake on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Last week, the Greyhounds clobbered Roseland Prep, 42-18, and tripped St. Bernard, 44-42.
