The first annual Russian River Mud Run takes place on the campus of Rio Lindo Adventist Academy and the banks of the Russian River.
The course is located 3 ½ miles south of Healdsburg. This mud run offers two running distances with a 5k and 10k course.
In addition to beautiful views of the vineyards and Russian River Valley, the course includes 18 unique and challenging obstacles, including multiple terrain surfaces, elevation changes, man-made and natural obstacles including parts of the Russian River.
Each participant also receives a custom long-sleeve T, race dog tags and pancakes for participating in the race!
For more information or to register, see www.russianrivermudrun.com or call the organizer, Steve Martin on his cell at: 707-217-3632 or email at smartin@riolindo.org.
A post-race festival is also scheduled, including food, games, activities and much more for the whole family. See the Post-Race Festival tab for more information.
All proceeds from the race will directly benefit a homeless ministry called Open Table that students from Rio Lindo Adventist Academy participate in throughout the year.
