Healdsburg City Council will discuss Aug. 20 how to plan for an estimated maximum 18-month closure of the to do rehab or restructuring work.
The discussion was originally planned for last night's City Council meeting, but was continued for two weeks.
However, the first closure, The bridge will remain open for bicyclists and pedestrians for those two days.
More problematic is the longer-term project. According to a city staff report, the city is unsure whether workers will be able to keep it open for pedestrians and bicyclists during the 18 months of construction.
Six potential options are included in the staff report.
