Want To Play With Your (Healthy) Food?
Just head for the Windsor Town Green today and join the fun!
The Windsor Town Green is the place to go to play with your food on Sunday. The Windsor Wellness Partnership and the Windsor Certified Farmers’ Market are providing fun family activities focused on healthy eating. It’s the ‘Healthy Fun Food Fair’ on Sunday, June 24.
“Healthy food really can be fun!” said . “You won’t want to miss this great family event, so folks should come on down to the Town Green for some good times and healthy, tasty eats!

“The County is committed to being the healthiest in California by 2020,” he continued. “And by working with our community partners on events like this, we will meet that goal.”
“This is also a great way to support our local farmers at the Windsor Certified Farmers’ Market,” said Windsor Mayor Deborah Fudge.

“The Windsor Wellness Partnership consortium will show us how to eat a more healthy diet,” she continued.
Family activities will include: Kids Dig It, making pizzas and smoothies, Zumba, composting and more.
Other participating organizations include Healdsburg District Hospital, Alliance Medical Center, the Windsor Garden Club, the Veggie Queen, Windsor Care Network, Whole Foods, St. Joseph Health, Windsor High Culinary Academy.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
