"Our and studios make an effort to engage dancers and potential dancers, keeping them informed about the benefits of ballroom dancing, how much fun it is and how it helps in remaining physically fit at any age," said Burke. "In fact, this blog will be right in line with our studio vision and mission statements. Patch.com is a supportive, forward-thinking local news resource and we are very excited about this partnership."

Burke, whose has 8,750 sq. ft. of dance space, hopes her blog engages Patch readers with compelling reasons for dancing–an ideal form of exercise, fitness, relaxation and social interaction. She encourages them to leave comments and ideas for feature dance topics.

The addition of a dance blog to Patch continues to demonstrate our site's commitment to be a source of diverse neighborhood content and conversations.
