'Dog Days of Summer' This Saturday

Area wineries offer food, wine and dog-friendly outings to raise money for Healdsburg Animal Shelter.

7th Annual Dog Days of Summer Open House will be Saturday, Aug. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"Join and its neighboring wineries on Saturday, Aug.6, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the ," said Julie Seal executive director of "WOW…. That would be the 49th annual event in dog years!"

Mutt Lynch will be providing:
•    Apps and Yaps (snacks for humans and goodies for the dogs for those of you not yet familiar with the way we bark)
•    The super cool Hound Lounge
•    Awesome Dog Art
•    New Releases
•    A tail-wagging good time

And wait, or.... STAY - there's more!
 
Mutt Lynch will be un-leashing its brand new 2009 Muttitage and art label contest winner, Nancy Schutt will be on hand to put her paw print on each bottle sold. All participating wineries will be welcoming dogs and their good humans. (Dogs on leash, of course.)

Tickets are $20 before Aug. 4, available online, by clicking here or $25 at the door.

"A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the Healdsburg Animal Shelter, which has been helping homeless animals for over 50 years!," said Seal. " Uumm…. That’s 350 years in dog years!!!"
