The Howl-o-Ween Parade was a great success! I just want to note that it's a benefit for the Healdsburg Animal Shelter but it is put on by the Healdsburg Dog House every year and this year Powell's Sweet Shoppe joined in too, along with many other sponsers that made donations for the event. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and donated to the event. It was so much fun!!!

Such a wonderful time and great event. The Healdsburg Dog House puts this on every year and it's always a big hit. Us "animal lovers" appreciate the opportunity to show off our "best friends" and see so many other cute ones. I love the Dog House too and they have the best groomer around. My babies, the Playboy Bunny and Hugh Hefner, wouldn't think of letting anyone else groom them. :o) Thanks to everyone who helped make this event another great one. See ya next year!!!

Oh my goodness can we say fantastic day? Creative people, patient, patient, friendly dogs and just some great fun and lots of laughter. One of my favorites is that little "skunk." It was hysterical to watch it cross the stage. On the subject of The Dog House--Amanda et all, just groomed Chica last week. They did a marvelous job (and they cut her long, long toenails). Chica was a basket case when I took her in (those big Border collie ears catch every little noise and scare the bejeebers out of her). They handled her so well, she was calmer when I picked her up than when I dropped her off. Great job! Thank you for caring for my baby so well (and she's clean, too). =0)
