More than 300 Revel at 'Bottle Shots' Fundraiser at Seghesio Family Vineyards

Attendance for Healdsburg Active 20-30 Club event doubled from last year -- all to benefit Healdsburg Education Foundation.

More than 300 tickets were sold for this year's "Bottle Shots" event, the major fundraiser of the year for the

"Bottle Shots" took place at and featured performances by two bands -- and Pat Jordan Band.

Proceeds go toward the nonprofit said Pamela Swan, HEF executive director.

"We are committed to promoting and sustaining educational excellence for ALL children in the Healdsburg area public schools," Swan said.

President Dan Chapin and Secretary Amanda Erlendson said they were pleased with the turnout and the success of the event.

"We had about 150 tickets sold last year, so this is double from that," Erlendson said.

In addition to donations from area food and wine vendors, Sonoma photographers Rick Bolen and Harry Blum donated free portrait shots of the attendees.

Blum said the photos will be posted on the "Bottle Shots" Facebook page.
