Take a Shot at Sponsorship for 'Bottle Shots'

Fundraiser for Active 20-30 Club of Healdsburg set for Sept. 3

Sponsorships are now available for Bottle Shots 2011, a charity fundraiser event on Sept. 3.

The third annual Bottle Shots is run by the

Club President Dan Chapin said the event has been moved to Labor Day weekend to coincide with Wine Country Weekend.

Wine Country Weekend includes "Taste of Sonoma," a series of tasting events and celebrations throughout Healdsburg and Sonoma County wine country. This year's Sonoma County's Harvest Fair will be Sept. 30 to Oct. 2.

"I recommend calling now for hotels as there will be 10,000 wine fans rolling into town for Labor Day weekend," Chapin said.

Chapin gave the following rundown on Bottle Shots:

Where: Healdsburg

When: Saturday, Sept. 3 -> Music kicks off at 5 p.m.

Cost: $30 in advance, $40 at the door (100 "Golden Tickets" available for $25 through Active 20-30 Club of Healdsburg)

Wine: Seghesio Winery (exclusive)

Beer: (and more to be announced...)

Food: Seghesio Winery brick oven pizzas, Gerard's World Famous Paella, and more...

Music: Pat Jordan Band and Special Guest to be announced next week via our Facebook fan page!

Chapin said 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit kids in the local community.

"In particular, we are still seeking a TItle Sponsor and Entertainment Sponsor to contribute to the cause," Chapin said.
