'A Wine and Food Affair' Will Offer Wine and Food Tastings at 107 Wineries

The 15th-annual event is organized by The Wine Road and features participating wineries in Healdsburg, Geyserville, Santa Rosa and elsewhere.

More than 100 wineries will open their doors next month for the 15th-annual "A Wine and Food Affair" in Healdsburg and other parts of northern Sonoma County.

The event, organized by The Wine Road, will feature 107 wineries offering food and wine pairings from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

"All of the wineries participating will have a favorite winery recipe in the ['Tasting Along the Wine Road'] cookbook, which they will prepare both days for you to sample, along with the perfect wine," organizers say on the event's website. All attendees will leave with a copy of the cookbook.

Numerous tasting rooms in Healdsburg and the surrounding area will participate in the event; zoom in to the above map to see each winery, or click here for a list.

Tickets are $70 for both days, or $50 for Sunday only. Tickets for designated drivers are $30–they will still receive a copy of the cookbook, but no wine.

Organizers will donate all proceeds from designated driver tickets and $1 for every other ticket sold to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.

More information about the event is available at wineroad.com.
